About the Role:

The purpose of this role is to generate awareness of The Fremantle Trust, to increase the volume and quality of enquiries and to create a positive image of the organisation by communicating effectively and consistently with internal and external audiences, across a variety of channels.

You will be engaging with colleagues and service users to promote the innovative activities and events that happen across the Trust, whilst supporting the Marketing Manager in delivering the marketing plan and providing communication support to colleagues.

What we need from you:

  • Excellent copywriting, proofreading and editing skills with evidence to demonstrate ability to write concise and compelling communications for both print and digital channels.
  • Evidence of working on various social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, for a commercial and/ or charitable organisation.
  • Proven ability to successfully work with a high level of initiative and confident decision making within agreed areas of responsibility and levels of delegation. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, persuade and influence at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise activities to deliver agreed outcomes within tight timescales.
  • Ability to outsource work where required and take responsibility and oversight of these projects.
  • Photographic skills and knowledge of using Adobe design software.
  • Full driving licence and access to own vehicle as some travel will be required to other services.  Business use car insurance will be required.

Today, we have 1500 staff supporting over 1,100 residents at services across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Milton Keynes.
